SYNOPSIS
Yuan Tiangang walks away from his life as a lethal operative for a shadowy imperial organization, leaving behind a world of blood and orders that no longer feel meaningful. Adrift and searching for purpose, he follows a cryptic message from an old friend toward Anle Pavilion, a seemingly peaceful sanctuary nestled in the heart of Chang'an. What he discovers instead is a nexus where restless souls converge, each pursuing their own obsession: freedom from invisible chains, the promise of immortality, or the intoxicating pull of power itself. As Yuan settles into this unexpected refuge, the pavilion becomes a crucible for conflicting desires and hidden agendas.
