Legend says two demons, a Scorpion spirit and a Snake spirit, were locked away inside the Calabash Mountains. Years later, a pangolin accidentally drills through the slope and sets them loose, and the pair begin bringing serious harm to the people living nearby. The pangolin finds an old man close to the mountains, explains what has happened, and shares a legend: calabashes of seven colours can defeat the spirits and keep the land from ruin. The old man obtains the legendary seed and grows seven calabashes in red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue and purple. As each one ripens, it becomes a child with a power of its own, and the seven brothers join forces against the demons across 13 short action episodes.
