Fan Lingxiao's scramble to rebuild from nothing with a new body and a decimated sect creates genuine stakes that most power-fantasy shows only pretend to have. The pacing collapses hard in the back half, trading narrative momentum for filler that kills the earlier urgency. Fan Lingxiao is a talented spirit pet master whose life ends in disaster. While competing in the A-level sect promotion competition, he is ambushed and then swallowed by his own spirit, Kun.
