Bai Xiaochun is a coward obsessed with immortality who accidentally becomes stronger than almost everyone around him, and the show mines endless comedy from watching him panic through situations he has no business surviving. The character arcs actually stick, people change, relationships deepen, the stakes accumulate, so when it pivots to genuine drama, you're already invested enough that it lands. This is a binge show that earns that label through relentless pacing and a protagonist whose neurotic energy makes every episode feel like it has to top the last one.

Bai Xiaochun is a likable but maddening young man whose fear of dying drives nearly everything he does. More than anything, he wants to live forever. For all his self-interest, he places real value on his friends and family. The story unfolds as a 52-episode ONA that mixes action, comedy and fantasy, told around a central idea: that of all the wills in the world, only his will endures.
