A one-centimeter alien named Dagon crash-lands his little rocket on a bed of weeds on a blue planet, where every creature he meets is an insect. He soon makes friends such as Zipzap Mantis, General Ant Garibaldi, Andy Ant and Doctor Marilyn Wasp, though the locals wonder who this visitor really is. When he rescues them from their fierce enemies, Gulpo Toad and Godzi Lizard, they decide he must be a super-bug. The planet also holds creatures the insects find truly frightening: the Sapiens, or humans. They have Dagon's rocket, and he must face these giants to win it back. The result is a funny, exciting fantasy adventure told at insect scale.
