Mashima learned nothing from Fairy Tail except how to do it better. The formula is identical, ragtag crew, found family, power-of-friendship climaxes, but transplanting it to a genuine space opera removes the safety rails of a single continent and lets the scale actually breathe. Every character design screams early 2000s anime in the best way possible, and the animation finally matches the ambition Mashima's always had but couldn't quite reach before. SYNOPSIS
Shiki grows up alone on a quiet planet, raised by androids in complete isolation from the rest of the universe.
