You wake up in another world as the chosen one, except the story doesn't wait for you to understand what that means. The Hachiyou are already fighting, Azusa is already dying, and Akuram doesn't care that you just got here, the apocalypse runs on its own schedule. In two episodes, this OVA compresses a full fantasy arc into pure momentum, trading the luxury of exposition for the sharp feeling of being caught between forces already in motion, where your only job is to figure out if you can save anyone at all.

Akane is carried off to the land of Kyou, where she learns she is the Ryuujin no Miko. There she meets the Hachiyou, a group sworn to protect her. Together they must stop Akuram, a demon who plans to destroy Kyou by using Azusa, a woman able to drain the energy of human beings. Should Akane and the Hachiyou fail to beat him and restore peace to the land, Azusa's power will wipe out humanity. Across two OVA episodes, the story mixes fantasy adventure with drama and romance.
