SYNOPSIS
Akane finds herself transported to Kyou, a realm where she discovers an unexpected destiny: she is the Ryuujin no Miko, a priestess chosen to protect the land from darkness. Eight warriors called the Hachiyou pledge themselves as her guardians, but their bond is tested immediately. A demon named Akuram threatens to consume Kyou entirely, wielding a dangerous weapon in the form of Azusa, a woman whose very body channels catastrophic power capable of draining human life force itself. The clock is ticking. Azusa's abilities grow stronger each day, and if left unchecked, her uncontrolled energy will annihilate the people she's meant to save. Akane must learn to trust her newfound companions while grappling with her role as priestess. Together, they race against time to confront Akuram and find a way to free Azusa from his control before an entire world falls to ruin.
