The supporting cast carries this show so hard that you stop noticing the protagonist is basically furniture. Marie's ruthlessness, Hugo's scheming, Franklin's weird charm, Nemesis's chaos, they're all doing more interesting things than Ray ever will, and the show is smart enough to know it. The light tone lets it breathe where darker isekai choke on themselves, and the animation keeps everything moving even when the plot is running on fumes. This is for people who want to hang out in a game world with characters worth knowing, not watch a chosen one save the day.

Infinite Dendrogram, the first full-dive VRMMO to truly work, launched in 2043 with a flawless simulation of all five senses and the promise of a world with endless possibilities. Nearly two years on, Reiji Mukudori, about to start college, can finally buy a copy. Helped by his experienced older brother Shuu and his partner Embryo, he sets out on a fantasy action adventure inside the game's remarkably realistic world.
