The anxiety doesn't build, it's already there, hammering at you from the first frame. Marie Yasui animates what insomnia actually feels like: not sleeplessness, but the collapse of your sense of time and self, played at the speed of Eve's relentless production. You watch a person dissolve into their own thoughts for three minutes and it costs something to sit through. The song doesn't give you a moment to look away.

Insomnia is a single-episode music video made for the Eve song of the same name, with animation by Marie Yasui. The track also serves as the theme song for the 2024 live-action film My Home Hero, and it was used in a commercial series for Google Play. The piece is labeled with psychological and supernatural genres.
