Cocoa stumbles into the Rabbit House looking for directions and accidentally finds her entire life. The show understands that comfort isn't about plot, it's about four girls who fit together so naturally that watching them argue over coffee orders or play pretend soldiers feels like overhearing your own friends. Animation this clean and a sense of humor this precise turns a premise that shouldn't work into something you don't want to leave.

Cocoa moves to a new town to attend high school but cannot locate the home where she is meant to board. When she stops at a cafe called the Rabbit House to ask the way, she learns she has already arrived: the cafe doubles as a boarding house. In exchange for room and board she waits tables alongside Chino, the quiet granddaughter of the cafe's founder, and Rize, a part-timer with a military upbringing who secretly carries a gun and a knife. The ever-upbeat Cocoa soon befriends them and waitresses from two rival cafes, the easygoing Chiya and the poor but refined Sharo. A lighthearted slice-of-life comedy, it also hints at a mystery surrounding Tippy, the cafe's talking pet rabbit.
