Eluana spends the entire show trying to opt out of a life everyone else is desperate to have. She gets the magic, the title, the power, and immediately wants none of it, which is the most honest thing fantasy romance has done in years. The show actually lets her want what she wants instead of making peace a reward for proving herself first.

Locked away in a prison cell, Eluana Vita awakens a talent for alchemy, and soon afterward she learns that she is the daughter of a Duke. Her new standing brings its own surprises, because life among the nobility turns out to be nothing like she imagined. Through ten episodes of fantasy and romance, Eluana sets out in pursuit of the calm, peaceful life she has always longed for.
