SYNOPSIS
Cheng Ke abandoned a stable career to chase his dreams as an artist, only to find himself broke and desperate for housing. He ends up renting a room from Jiang Yu, a successful professional in an entirely different world, and the two immediately clash. Cheng Ke's chaotic creative energy clashes with Jiang Yu's need for order and routine. What starts as pure antagonism slowly shifts as they begin seeing past first impressions, discovering the struggles and sacrifices each has made to reach their current lives. As they share a living space, their worlds collide in unexpected ways. Jiang Yu watches Cheng Ke pour everything into his art despite constant rejection. Cheng Ke sees Jiang Yu's success comes with its own isolation and pressure. Through frustration and late-night conversations, genuine understanding emerges. They become unlikely support systems for one another, pushing each other toward their individual goals while finding something neither expected: a friendship that makes the struggle feel less lonely.
