This is K-On! at its most essential: four girls and a passport office, nothing more, and somehow that's enough. The show knows the real warmth lives in the spaces between the music, in Yui's blank stare while filling out forms and Mio's quiet panic about the photo. You're not here for a story. You're here because being around these people, doing something as mundane as bureaucracy together, feels like home.

With summer break almost over, the members of the band Houkago Tea Time want to squeeze in one last trip before the new semester. Everyone has a different place in mind, and settling on a destination proves harder than expected. While still undecided, the girls realize they first need new passports. A seemingly routine errand to a government office turns into a daylong outing for Yui Hirasawa and her bandmates. This single OVA episode of K-ON!! came with the ninth Blu-ray and DVD volume, and it offers light, music-club comedy built on everyday moments.
