If you've lived through Key's emotional devastation, this show exists to kick those moments in the shins. Season 2 strips the melodrama from six different visual novel worlds and finds the comedy hiding in the wreckage, trusting you to recognize every destroyed hope and mangled confession it's about to weaponize. This isn't for newcomers, it's a love letter written in inside jokes to people who earned the right to laugh at their own tears.

The crossover comedy returns to Kaginado Academy, where favorite characters from Kanon, Air, Clannad, Little Busters!, Rewrite and more share one school. It is a small miracle the academy is still standing, and now Yuri Nakamura and her allies want to strike back at the god who made their world. She lists its many absurdities and argues that the academy is really a stand-in for the afterlife. Her idea unsettles the students, and some start doubting their own memories. Others reject it, insisting that their lives here come from their pasts and not from some all-knowing creator. New arrivals from other worlds join the school as well, and those who love the place stand in the way of anyone chasing its secrets. Through all of it, daily life at the academy stays as hectic as ever, whether the students like it or not.
