A giant monster shows up to destroy your city, then decides your apartment is nicer. The entire show is just them living together, cooking meals, going to convenience stores, the kaijuu slowly realizing conquest was never the point. It's a comedy about the absurdity of world domination meeting the mundane warmth of someone caring if you eat breakfast, and it lands because the monsters are genuinely trying to be good at being roommates.
