Zorori wants to be a villain so badly that he keeps accidentally being good at it. Every scheme to steal a bride or build a prank castle explodes in his face in exactly the way that teaches him something about why people matter. He's a fox who learned cruelty from storybooks but discovered kindness by accident, and he's too proud to admit that's what actually makes him legendary.
Zorori is a clever fox with big ambitions: he wants to build a castle, find a bride, and become the undisputed King of Pranks. The problem is that his elaborate schemes, no matter how carefully crafted, have a habit of backfiring. What should be masterstrokes of mischief somehow end up helping the people he's trying to trick, making him look more like a secret hero than the villain he claims to be. Joined by Ishishi and Noshishi, a pair of twin boar bandits, Zorori travels through a fantasy world cooking up ridiculous plans and stumbling into genuine adventures. Beneath all the scheming and trickery lies something more complicated: a fox trying to make his late mother proud while chasing a dream that stays just out of reach.
