Two episodes that exist purely to be with Nanami and Tomoe again, in the quiet spaces between the supernatural chaos. There's no epic arc here, no reason to care if you haven't already fallen for these characters. The OVA knows exactly what it is: an excuse to watch them bicker in the shrine, Tomoe being insufferable, Nanami refusing to let him win. If you loved the original series, this lands because it doesn't ask for anything except your willingness to spend time with people you already care about.
Two short OVA episodes continue the romance between Nanami Momozono and her familiar Tomoe, one adapted from a story in the manga's fifteenth volume and the other an original tale. In the first, Nanami is still glowing from a kiss with Tomoe until she sees him accept a mysterious black box and hears him say that, with it, he no longer needs her. She sets up a distraction to learn what is inside. In the second, Nanami overhears her familiar Mizuki suggest that Tomoe spoils her, so she resolves to prove she can manage on her own. On a trip with Tomoe to a hot spring hotel, she hears of a stone said to bring couples lifelong happiness if they touch it together, but reaching it is hard when she won't accept his help. Both episodes mix comedy, romance and supernatural fantasy.
