Yuuichi keeps his promises, even the ones made in winter that nobody else remembers. This OVA exists to show you what happens after the miracle, to let characters you thought deserved better actually get their moment. It's not essential, but that's the point, it's generous in a way the original series couldn't afford to be.

Spring returns to the town, bringing a quiet sense of renewal. Yuuichi and Ayu have been reunited, and the lives of everyone around them are back on track. Peace seems to have settled over the group at last. Then Mishio travels to the place where Makoto was born, and there she sees a miracle happen before her eyes. A single-episode OVA, it blends drama, romance and slice of life with a gentle supernatural touch.
