A thousand years ago, the Grand Evil was sealed in a cave behind an energized shield, and now he is close to regaining enough strength to break out. To stop this, the Elders of Fantasia work to keep the power inside the shield. They send nymph warriors out to track down Ki-fighter cocoons hidden somewhere in the world. On that mission, the nymphs meet TaeRang, a young Ki-Fighter who turns out to have the power to defeat the Grand Evil. TaeRang then sets out to find weak creatures and their villages that the evil power has put in danger, and he sets things right with wisdom and bravery. The result is a 26-episode adventure series built around a heroic kid.
