A teenager stumbles into a secret war happening in plain sight and discovers he's one of maybe a dozen people on Earth who can punch holes in reality to weaponize their own power. High schooler Ukiya Shun stumbles into this secret war when he witnesses a young girl battling a group of Invaders. Stepping in to help, he discovers he can open a Gate of special power, just like she can. Shun joins A.E.G.I.S. and is tasked with finding other rare Gate Keepers to defend the city, all while trying hard not to become like his late father, a man he despises. The show mixes action, mecha and sci-fi with a comic streak.
