Anime Like Arms Alchemy
Kazuki gets killed in episode one and comes back wrong, his entire arm replaced with alchemy that wasn't supposed to work on humans. The show builds its action around that violation, turning every fight into a scramble where he's figuring out what his own body can do while something much bigger circles closer. It's predictable shonen framework, but the fight choreography is tight enough that you stop caring, and the tonal shifts between comedy and genuine dread actually land.
SYNOPSIS
Kazuki Muto's night takes a surreal turn when he dies saving a mysterious girl from a grotesque creature, only to regain consciousness convinced it was all a nightmare. Reality crashes back when another monster attacks his home, and the girl, Tokiko, reveals the horrifying truth: she brought him back from the dead by embedding a Kakugane, an alchemical medallion that now serves as his heart. This isn't mercy, exactly. It's recruitment. Tokiko belongs to an organization hunting creatures called homunculi, and Kazuki's Kakugane grants him the ability to forge a Buso Renkin, a weapon uniquely tailored to his own will and spirit. It's the only tool capable of destroying these abominations. Now caught between a second chance at life and an obligation to fight monsters he never asked to face, Kazuki must master his newfound power while grappling with what he's become. Part revenge fantasy, part comedy romp, part supernatural action thriller, the series balances genuine danger with moments of teenage awkwardness as Kazuki adjusts to his strange new existence.
