SYNOPSIS
Yuji's everyday routine shatters the moment a crimson-eyed girl in a dark cloak cuts down a grotesque monster right before him. He's a "Torch," a temporary replacement for his true self that was consumed by creatures called Guze no Tomogara, interdimensional parasites that feed on human existence itself. Only Shana, a Flame Haze warrior, can see the truth of his condition. As Shana takes up residence in Yuji's life to protect him from further supernatural threats, the line between his mundane world and the hidden supernatural conflict blurs completely. Yuji grapples with his impossible situation while Shana wages constant battles against otherworldly invaders, each encounter bringing them closer together.
