A puppet master watches his creation turn the camera on him. The joke never gets old because Kawamoto isn't interested in the punchline, he's interested in what happens when control becomes a conversation. An artist shapes clay into a beautiful sculpture, only for the figure to come alive and set about reshaping its maker. What starts as a simple act of creation turns into a comic contest over who is really sculpting whom, as the creation insists on making the artist in turn.
