Kino no Tabi -the Beautiful World- Haikyo no Kuni is an adventure and slice-of-life special built as an interactive drama in which the viewer picks among options as the story goes on. It is divided into three separate tales, each centered on a different group of travelers: Kino and Hermes, Shizu with Ti and Riku, and Shishou with Aibou. Every path leads into the Country of Ruins, where the travelers encounter Sera, the only person still living there.
