A country where everyone builds a tower for reasons nobody questions. A ten-minute OVA that asks what happens when you stop building and actually look up. Kino wakes from a nap and sees a towering structure in the distance, still standing in the middle of Tower Country. Its citizens all work on building this enormous tower, which reaches seemingly endless heights and is still growing, yet none of them know what it is meant for. Curious, Kino and Hermes, a talking motorcycle, travel closer and question the townspeople about where the tower came from, but no clear answer emerges. During their stay they keep watching both the tower and the people who labor on it, trying to understand why anyone would pour so much effort into it. A strange meeting with a young boy adds another turn to the visit. The story is a single-episode OVA blending adventure, fantasy and psychological elements.
