Nobody's making anime about two people sitting in a club room talking about a dating sim, so when it works, it works differently than everything else on your feed. Kobayashi breaks down tsundere archetypes with the precision of someone who's thought about this way too hard, while Endo just wants to enjoy the game. The chemistry between someone who over-analyzes and someone who just wants fun is the entire show, and it's enough.

Endo and Kobayashi pass the time in their club room talking about a video game, and that conversation is the whole premise. The three-episode comedy ONA from 2023 is a short companion piece to the Tsunlise franchise, Tsundere Akuyaku Reijou Liselotte. It was released as bite-sized promotional clips through DMM pictures' YouTube channel and the franchise's publicity account on Twitter.
