A song about love arrives as something you didn't know you needed to hear. The animation is spare and gentle, letting the melody do the work instead of competing with it. What hits is the simplicity: a fish learning to love, a melody that makes you believe it matters. This is the kind of thing that plays once and stays in your head for weeks, the way a real song should.

Koishite Iruka is a single-episode music video for the song of the same name, performed by Sakana-kun and the Kozakana Gasshoudan. The song was featured on Minna no Uta, a program broadcast by NHK.
