Seven sisters, daughters of the rice deity, form the unit Komekami! Girls, a group rooted in the old belief that seven gods dwell in every grain of rice. Their mother was summoned back to the celestial realm in a hurry and can no longer return to earth. From their base in Usa City, Oita Prefecture, the sisters teleport to Hachiman shrines around Kyushu looking for signs of her.
