Kyousuke abandoned music three years ago after losing his musical partner Kai in an accident that shattered their dreams just before they were set to debut. He's been drifting ever since, going through life without direction or purpose. Then Kai suddenly appears before him, with the same blunt, unfiltered honesty and forceful personality he had before he died. He confronts Kyousuke with a harsh truth: someone who stops and does nothing may as well be dead, even if they are still breathing. Pushed back into music by Kai, Kyousuke rediscovers what made him fall in love with making sound together in the first place. Working alongside Kai again brings back a joy he thought was lost forever. But the happy days the two share together are not destined to last.
