Toei Animation announced a new film adaptation of the classic Versailles no Bara anime and manga, and showed pilot footage at the Tokyo International Anime Fair in January 2007. No release date in Japan was ever confirmed, and the project appears to have been cancelled. This entry covers the trailer, which is all that survives of the planned drama and romance movie.
