The song carries the entire weight of the story. Marie Yasui animates it with the kind of restraint that only works when you trust the music to do the emotional lifting, there's no plot to hide behind, just two people and a melody that says everything their silence can't. If you've ever felt a song understand you better than words ever could, you'll recognize yourself here.

Latest Episode is a short romance music video for Saishinwa, a song by WANUKA, animated by Marie Yasui. The same song plays over the closing credits of the Taiyou yori mo Mabushii Hoshi anime, so fans of that series will recognize the tune here, paired with its own animation in a single episode.
