The Galactic Empire and the Free Planets Alliance have been at war for over a century and a half. In the Empire, young Siegfried Kircheis befriends Reinhard von Müsel and his older sister Annerose. Then their father, a drunken noble of low rank, agrees to hand Annerose over to the Kaiser as a concubine. Reinhard is furious but cannot defy the Imperial Court, and he moves away with his father. Years later he comes back in uniform, set on climbing the military ranks to free his sister, and Kircheis joins him. The film is a science fiction action drama.
