Antique book dealer Suzuri needs money to cover his rent, so he plans to sell a valuable old book. It holds a legend about a skilled yin-yang master who long ago defeated a giant spider. After he reads the story to Mizuki, the building owner's young granddaughter, a frightened arachnid girl only about twenty centimeters tall appears before them, having been sealed inside the book. At first she seems adorable and harmless. While Suzuri grows fond of his new eight-legged companion, Mizuki starts watching her every move with suspicion.
