Ayumu Fujino is a fourth grader whose comic strips in the school newspaper make her the star of her class. Jealousy pushes her into a long, stubborn effort to catch up. When the two finally meet, a friendship begins, shaped by rivalry, admiration and a common love of drawing manga.
