Suzuko Homura first took up the card game Wixoss hoping to make friends, only for a card in her new deck to come alive and pull her into Selector battles over coins that hold her memories. After she and Chinatsu Morikawa beat the Bookmaker Kou Satomi, the two girls can return to ordinary lives and move forward. That calm soon breaks when Kiyoi Mizushima asks Suzuko to help stop the next cycle of Selector battles, since someone still seems to be pursuing Satomi's plans after his defeat. Still uneasy and bothered by what remains unsettled, Suzuko agrees to join Mizushima's investigation, without realizing it will pull her into a growing conflict that will decide the Selectors' fate for good.
