Two franchises built on obsession finally collide with real stakes. Lupin steals because he loves the game; Conan solves because the truth matters more than anything. Watch a thief and a detective realize they need each other's brains to save the people they actually care about, because one heist and one murder case bleed into the same impossible knot, and neither of them can untangle it alone.

Lupin the III and Conan Edogawa are natural enemies: one steals what the other protects. But when Fujiko is kidnapped and an anonymous threat targets a famous Italian singer visiting Japan, their separate cases start to collide. Lupin must steal a particular jewel to save Fujiko, while Conan works to get to the bottom of the threat that puts the singer's concert at risk. As the two cases come together, it becomes hard to tell who is really playing whom. The movie is a crossover sequel to the earlier television special, mixing action and comedy with a mystery at its core.
