SYNOPSIS
A young Japanese craftsman finds himself at a crossroads between honoring his family's traditional woodworking legacy and pursuing a more profitable path in modern manufacturing. When a prestigious international design competition offers a life-changing opportunity, he must decide whether to submit a piece that showcases his true skills or one engineered for mass appeal. As he wrestles with this choice, his eccentric relatives, skeptical peers, and an unexpected rival force him to confront what "made in Japan" really means in a world obsessed with speed and profit. Comedy emerges from the clash between old-world dedication and contemporary shortcuts, as well as from the colorful personalities surrounding him who each have opinions about his decision. The film balances humor with genuine heart, exploring whether authenticity can survive in an age of compromise.
