Sally is a spirited, mischievous young witch who leaves her magical world after a department store advertising balloon catches her eye. Down on Earth, she meets Sumire and Yoshiko, two ordinary girls her age, and wants nothing more than to become their friend. Determined to belong, Sally decides to live among humans while keeping her magical identity a secret, joined by Kabu, her shapeshifting follower. What begins as a simple deception becomes something deeper as she spends time with her new friends and comes to see that some things matter more than magic. Her mischievous streak makes for plenty of comedy in this magical girl series, a sequel and reboot of the original Mahoutsukai Sally.
