Nobody expects a traffic safety OVA to feel like coming home. Maple Town's gentle world stops everything to teach you how to cross a street, and somehow that becomes the entire point, these characters care enough about your safety to take the time, no rushing, no lectures that talk down to you. It's a relic from when anime could be quietly kind without needing a hook or a crisis. If you've ever wanted to sit in a small town and have someone you trust explain something important while the world stays soft around the edges, this is it.

The cast of Maple Town Monogatari returns for a single-episode OVA made as a traffic safety video.
