This is a show that asks nothing of you except to exist in the same space as it for eight minutes. Mop wrapped in his blanket is not trying to teach you anything or make you feel a specific way. It just sits there being warm, and somehow that is enough.

Marumofubiyori is an eight-episode slice-of-life ONA from 2017 that brings a Sanrio character line to animation. The line itself debuted in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward in February 2017. Its lead is Mop, a white bear who goes about wrapped in a blanket, and the episodes center on him and his friends.
