The animation burns with a style nobody else is even attempting, rotoscope meets graffiti art meets something that hasn't been named yet. The soundtrack drops like a living thing in the city, rap and synth crawling under every frame so perfectly that you forget you're watching a story about an alien invasion that barely makes sense. Dark Meat City itself becomes the main character, a place so visually specific and alive that plot coherence stops mattering the moment you step into it.

Angelino is one of countless deadbeats getting by in Dark Meat City. A scooter accident brought on by a mysterious woman turns his ordinary life upside down: he starts suffering violent migraines along with strange visions of monstrous figures roaming the city. With his close friend Vinz, he tries to work out what is happening to him, while menacing men in black seem set on capturing him. Is he losing his mind, or is an alien invasion quietly underway? The movie mixes action, comedy and psychological sci-fi.
