Machiko arrives at Asama Elementary School as the newest teacher, and her arrival sends shockwaves through the campus. Young, spirited, and conventionally attractive, she quickly becomes the target of relentless pranks from her mischievous first-year students. The boys constantly set traps and flip her red miniskirt to catch her in embarrassing states of undress, and the lecherous faculty pays her just as much unwanted attention. Even the most ordinary school day becomes an obstacle course of hijinks and mishaps. Machiko never answers with anger. She laughs off each mishap with her trademark cry of embarrassment and keeps going. Kind and patient, she stays devoted to her students and does her best to help them with their problems, whatever it costs her dignity. Her good nature makes an odd contrast with the absurdity of her situation. The result is a broad ecchi comedy built on slapstick gags, where the punchline always circles back to Machiko's unflappable spirit and her students' creative troublemaking.
