The comedy timing from the original series is still there, compressed into three-minute bursts that somehow land harder when you have less time to set up the joke. These aren't filler, they're the manga's best bits distilled, the kind of character moments that made you laugh out loud reading the source material. If you loved watching Nozaki be completely oblivious while everyone around him spirals, this is exactly that energy, no padding.

Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun Specials is a set of six short specials from 2014, released as extras with the home video editions on Blu-ray and DVD. They blend comedy and romance, in keeping with their genre labels, and are presented as bonus material alongside those discs rather than as a standalone broadcast.
