The heroine actually has her own crisis to solve before romance even matters, which means the love interests have to earn their way into the story instead of walking in as the plot. Each guy is deliberately different in how he moves through her world, and the show respects that difference enough to let them clash. By the time the conspiracy pulls everything together, you realize the romance wasn't distracting from the real story, it was the thing that made you care enough to follow it.

A young woman takes over her late father's small video production company, Miracle Entertainment, as its president and producer. The company is close to bankruptcy for lack of capital, and its once popular program, Miracle Finder, has faded into obscurity. Hoping to keep the show alive, she looks for a fresh subject and lands on Evol, a mysterious gene that gives certain people special powers. Along the way she meets four Evolvers: the idol Kira, the scientist Simon, the police officer Haku, and Zen, the CEO of the Loveland Financial Group that backs her company. As strange incidents hit the city, she is pulled into a vast conspiracy involving the organization Black Swan, her father's death and her own lost memories. The story blends romance, drama and science fiction.
