Osomatsu-san heads to the world of horse racing in this one-episode comedy special, produced in partnership with the Japan Racing Association. Instead of a single continuous story, the episode strings together several brief gag skits, each built around the racing theme. The franchise grows out of Fujio Akatsuka's gag manga Osomatsu-kun, serialized from 1962 to 1969, and centers on the Matsuno sextuplets, with Osomatsu as the eldest and their leader.
