A woman who is also a cat, or maybe a cat who is also a woman, the video never decides, and it doesn't need to. Satoko Ochiai's song sits in that warm space between whimsy and sincerity where children's television lives when it actually trusts you. Five minutes of pure comfort, the kind that makes you believe transformation doesn't have to mean becoming something else.

Neko Ningen no Atashi is a single-episode music video made for the song of the same name by Satoko Ochiai. The song aired on Minna no Uta, a program broadcast by NHK, and this animated video was created to go with it.
