Two brothers raised in a lab as test subjects for powers they never asked for walk into the world with nothing but each other. Brothers Naoto and Naoya Kirihara were given up by parents who feared their psychic gifts, and they spent fifteen years shut away in a research lab inside a forest sealed off by a barrier. When that barrier falls, they break out and try to build ordinary lives. Instead, a spreading force called minus energy and a rise in crimes involving psychic powers push them to use their abilities to save people. That is hard for both of them: Naoya's mind reading has left him traumatized, and Naoto's unstable psychokinesis has hurt people close to him. Helped by Shouko Futami, an enigmatic woman who can see the future, they set out to stop an organization that appears tied to the trouble surrounding gifted individuals. The series is a psychological, supernatural sci-fi drama with elements of horror and mystery, adapted from the 1992 live-action drama NIGHT HEAD.
