Three episodes of eight minutes each, and it moves you the way a feature should. Ryouchimo animates loss and longing in a storybook space where every frame is its own small painting, where the music doesn't just sit underneath the story, it becomes part of how you feel it. The themes are old ones: jealousy, rejection, acceptance. The execution makes them new again.

Three short fantasy episodes, made as a companion to Aimer's album "Walpurgis", visit a dream realm called the Night World, where an entity named Yoru helps children face memories they have abandoned. In the first night, Chiyo cannot accept the death of her dog Choco and falls asleep, waking in a starless world where Yoru guides her. In the second, Tsumugi throws away the exchange diary she shares with her best friend Hina after Hina wants to include a new girl, then wakes before a labyrinth where she must face her loneliness. In the third, Akatsuki, discouraged about her career as an artist, finds an old letter from a former friend while discarding her work. The atmosphere is dreamlike and melancholic, centered on loneliness, loss and connection rather than action.
