Haunted by visions of the last hours of Amakusa, the famed swordsman Jubei Yagyu goes back to his family village of Yagyu, hoping to rest from the bloody work of serving a feudal lord. The calm there feels false to him, and unsettling rumors soon arrive: four dead heroes are rising again, drawing strength from the fear and violence of the era. At Amakusa, the Shogun's armies show no mercy to their foes, while the faithful trapped there wait for divine help, a demon stirs among them, and a Child of Heaven, seeking vengeance, becomes an agent of Hell. Jubei must take up his sword once more. The two-episode supernatural action OVA was first planned to run four episodes and ends on a cliffhanger.
