A 800-year-old vampire noble wakes up confused by smartphones and high school uniforms. His old butler is now running the place, which is the entire joke. Production I.G animates this fish-out-of-water chaos like it's the most important thing happening, and the tonal whiplash between "ancient being discovering vending machines" and sudden supernatural combat actually works. The webtoon got mangled in adaptation, and half the episodes feel like filler. Watch it anyway for the voice acting alone.

An ancient noble wakes after eight centuries of sleep to find the world completely transformed. Rai, bearing the title of Noblesse, faces an era of unfamiliar technology, attitudes and ways of living. He reconnects with Frankenstein, his old servant who now runs a high school in Korea, and decides enrolling there is the perfect way to catch up on what he has missed. Rai awkwardly integrates himself into a group of kind-hearted students. Dignified yet baffled by modern gadgets, he soon finds himself swept into escapades that are as silly as they are dangerous. The Union, a secret society out for his blood, sends modified humans after him and seizes his new friends, forcing Rai to use his immense power to protect them. Meanwhile, two Nobles enroll at the same school to investigate him, and Rai must keep his true identity hidden while guarding the people around him.
